    So, I've been using this item for some months now and it has been a great addition to my kitchen. I've been able to seal standard and large mouth jars easily with this unit and it seals them TIGHT.     I really love this vacuum sealer for jars! I've been using it to put away tons of dry goods in my pantry. And the nice thing is, I can open a jar, take out what I want, and reseal it to keep the rest fresh! It is very easy to use. Just be sure the lid is on straight, and gently but firmly push down until it is seated properly before pushing the power button. I always listen for the pitch of the machine to go up a little and hold before turning it off.
